A major factor in the successfulness of air duct cleaning in removing particles lodged in air ducts is the equipment used. We employ different drive cables for different brushes for different air duct layouts. For example, the 3/8" steel core cable in a 3/4" double walled cable housing attached the standard Flex-E brush is designed specifically for cleaning 4" to 18" diameter air ducts. The same 3/8" steel core cable in a 3/4" double walled cable housing attached to commercial brush is used to clean air ducts up to 36" in diameter. This drive cable enables compressed air and a fitting for a 125 psi compressor @ 6 cfm, and is powered by a 1/2 HP DC motor unit with 0-1150 RPM controller and dual torque settings.

For a different style of air duct layout, we will use a more flexible 5/16" drive cable and an attached 1.5" vacuum cable, with the same two brush heads as options. This can either be attached to a vacuum machine or a truck-mounted carpet cleaning machine, either of which will suck up all of the dirt and debris dislodged by the rotating and scrubbing brush.
This option is also powered by a 1/2 HP DC motor unit with 0-1150 RPM controller and dual torque settings.
If all of the descriptions above is more than you want to know, rest assured that our equipment has left many air ducts extremely clean, hvac and air conditioning systems running more efficiently, and their owners more than satisfied with our services. We would be proud to service your home or business.
